WaterBacteria Check is ideal for screening drinking water samples for total coliform bacteria. The method is a simple modification of the multiple-tube method. Simply combine 100 ml of sample with the disposable bottle containing the P/A broth and let sit at room temperature for 48-hours. A color change from purple to yellow indicates the presence of coliform bacteria. Complex chemistry, made simple.
